【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardmakesrecommendationsforandgivesguidanceonhealthandsafetypracticesinshaftsinkingandtunnelconstruction.Thestandardincludeshealthandsafetyrecommendationsthatarealsorelevanttocut-and-covertunnelling,immersedtubetunnelsandotherformsofundergroundconstructionaswellastothemaintenance,renovationandrepairofshaftsandtunnels.Therecommendationsarenotintendedtoapplytotheconstructionofshaftsortunnelsforthepurposeofmineralextraction.NOTE1Thedesign,manufactureanduseofplantandmachineryarereferredtoonlywheresafetyconsiderationsareaffected.VariousEuropeanStandardsrelatingtothedesignoftunnelboringmachines(TBMs)arecurrentlyunderrevision.NOTE2Currentlegislationrelatingtooccupationalhealthandsafetycanbefoundatwww.hse.gov.uk.
