【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishestherequirementsforfree-cuttingbrassrod,bar,wire,andshapesofanyspecifiedcrosssectionproducedfromCopperAlloyUNSNos.C36000orC36010suitableforhigh-speedscrewmachiningapplicationsandmoderatethreadrolling.1.2Units8212;ValuesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.2.1Withinthetext,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsaredesignedtobeusedtodeterminethesusceptibilityoftheadhesivefilmtobiodegradationandwhethertheadhesivewillcarryintothebondlinesufficientanti-fungalpropertiestopreventgrowthoffungifrequentlypresentonthegluingequipment,onadherends,orintheadhesiveasapplied.Potatodextroseagar(PDA)providesacompletemediumforthegrowthoffungi,whilemineralsaltsagar(MSA)lacksacarbohydratesourceandprovidesalessfavorablemedium.UseofPDAteststheadhesivefilmforitsabilitytoresistthegrowthoffungionitssurfaceaswellasitsabilitytorepelacopiousgrowthoffungiontheadjacentagarsurface.UseofMSAteststheadhesivefilmprimarilyforitsabilitytoresistthegrowthoffungionitssurface.Whenitisused,thereisareducedpossibilitythatthegrowthfromtheagarwillbemis-readascomingfromtheadhesivefilm,sincefungalgrowthontheadjacentagarwillbescant.Note28212;ThemethodgivenhereusingtheMSAisbasedonPracticeG21,adaptedtobeusedwithadhesives.RequirementstomeettheapprovalofgovernmentspecificationsaretheuseoftheMSAdescribedin10.2,andamixedspeciesoffungidescribedin8.2fortheinoculum.Theresultsobtainedwhenusingtheproceduresgiveninthismethodapplyonlytothespeciesusedforthetesting.ThetestspecieslistedinSection8arefrequentlyusedbylaboratoriestotestforantifungalproperties,buttheyarenottheonlyoneswhichcouldbeused.Selectionofthefungalspeciestotestagainstrequiresinformedjudgmentbythetestinglaboratoryorbythepartyrequestingthetests.Thesemethodsareespeciallyusefulwhenspeciesthathavebeenisolatedfromcontaminatedadhesivesareusedasthetestspecies(seeSection8)toaidintheselectionofmoreeffectivefungicides.Theefficacyofsomebiocidesmaychangeinstorageduetothechemicalandthermalenvironmenttowhichtheyaresubjectedascomponentsofcertainadhesives.Thesetestmethodsarenotappropriatefordeterminingtheeffectoffungalcontaminationonadhesivesunderwater-soakingconditions,becausetheyarenotdesignedtocoverthepossibilityofwater-solublebiocidesleachingoutofthebondline.Thesetestmethodsaredependentuponthephysiologicalactionoflivingmicroorganismsunderareportedsetofconditions.Conclusionsabouttheresistanceofthetestadhesivetofungalattackcanbedrawnbycomparingtheresultstosimultaneouslyruncontrolsofknownresistance.SeeX5.2forstatementsregardingtestrepeatability.1.1Thesetestmethodstesttheabilityofadhesivefilmstoinhibitorsupportthegrowthofselectedfungalspeciesgrowingonagarplatesbyprovidingmeansoftestingthefilmsontwoagarsubstrates,onewhichpromotesmicrobialgrowth,andonewhichdoesnot.1.2Thesetestmethodsarenotappropriateforalladhesives.Theactivityofcertainbiocidesmaynotbedemonstratedbythesetestmethodsasaresultofirreversiblereactionwithsomeofthemediumconstituents.Note18212;Asanexample,quaternaryammoniumcompoundsareinactivatedbyagar.1.3Atestmethodisincludedforusewithlow-viscosityadhesivesalongwithanalternativemethodforusewithmastic-typeadhesives.Also,amethodapprovedbythegovernmentisgiven.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusero......
