【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovideasimpleandeconomicalmeansforthedeterminationofcomparativevaluesofflexuralbondstrength.Itmaybeusedeitheronspecimensespeciallyfabricatedforbondstrengthevaluationoronspecimenscutfromexistingmasonry.Thebondstrengthsdeterminedfromthistestmethodcanbeusedasameansofevaluatingthecompatibilityofmortarsandmasonryunits.Itmayalsobeusedtodeterminetheeffectonflexuralbondstrengthofsuchfactorsasmasonryunitandmortarproperties,workmanship,curingconditions,coatingsonmasonryunits,oranyotherfactorsthatmaybeofconcern.Flexuralbondstrengthdeterminedbythistestmethodshouldnotbeinterpretedastheflexuralbondstrengthofawallconstructedofthesamematerial.However,resultsmaybeusedtopredicttheflexuralstrengthofawall.Norshoulditbeinterpretedasanindicationofextentofbondforpurposesofwaterpermeanceevaluation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofflexuralbondstrengthofnonreinforcedmasonrybyphysicaltestingofeachjointofmasonryprisms.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
