【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheidentificationofpolyethyleneplasticpipeandfittingsmaterialsinaccordancewithacellclassificationsystem.Itisnotthefunctionofthisspecificationtoprovidespecificengineeringdatafordesignpurposes,tospecifymanufacturingtolerances,ortodeterminesuitabilityforuseforaspecificapplication.Polyethyleneplasticmaterials,beingthermoplastic,arereprocessableandrecyclable(Note0).Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofthosepolyethylenematerials,providedthatallspecificrequirementsofthisspecificationaremet.Note2Thenotesinthisspecificationareforinformationonlyandshallnotbeconsideredpartofthisspecification.Note0SeeGuideD5033forinformationanddefinitionsrelatedtorecycledplastics.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note3ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.ForinformationregardingmoldingandextrusionmaterialsseeSpecificationD4976.ForinformationregardingwireandcablematerialsseeSpecificationD1248.
