【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofhandfed,shredders/chipperswithintegralpowersourceandwithorwithoutvacuumassistedcollectionwhicharedesignedprimarilytoreduceorganicmaterialtosmallerpieces.Itisonlyapplicabletoshredders/chippersthataredesignedforuseoutdoorsinastationarypositionbyanoperatorstandingontheground.Itappliestoshredders/chipperswithfeedintakeopeningsintheformofasingleopeningoranopeningdividedintoanumberofsegments.Thefeedintakeopeningsorsegmentseachbeingofanyshapethatwillfitintoasquareof250mm×250mmmeasuredattherelevantsafetydistancetothecuttingmeans.Thisstandarddescribesmethodsofeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheuseofshredders/chippers.Inadditionitspecifiesthetypeofinformationtobeprovidedbythemanufactureronsafeworkingpractices.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverrequirementsfor:?unitsdrivenbyanexternalpowersource;?mobileuseofunitswhichcanbeusedinbothstationaryandmobilemodes;?unitswithpowereddischargeintendedtobroadcastmaterialorloadvehicles;?unitswithmechanicallypoweredfeedintakeorattachments;?unitswithcuttingmeansofeitheroneormorenon-metallicfilaments,oroneormorenon-metalliccuttingelementspivotallymountedonagenerallycircularcentraldriveunit,wherethesecuttingelementsrelyoncentrifugalforcetoachievecutting,andhaveakineticenergyforeachsinglecuttingmeansoflessthan10J;?electricalaspectsofelectricallydrivenshredders.EnvironmentalhazardsandEMChavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisstandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoshredders/chippers,whentheyareusedasintended(seeclause4).Thisdocumentisnotapplicabletoshredders/chipperswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
